65 of Tempe, AZ, peacefully passed away with his family by his side after a long battle against cancer. He is survived by his devoted wife Linda, children Lisa (Gilbert Beltran), Cynthia (Nick Slattery), Anthony (Corinna), Dannelle (Terry Tejeda) and Bobbi Jo Smith; grandchildren Janell and Sabreena Diaz, Rayanna Slattery, Anthony Daniel, Adrian Michael and Alexis Victoria Duenas, Jacqueline and Amanda Mendoza, Michaela and Ricky Tejeda and Garrett Smith, brother Dicky Duenas, and many nieces, nephews and wonderful family and friends. Daniel served as a Private in the U.S. Army from 1964-67, stationed in Germany/France. He worked for many years in the cabinet and woodworking industry. Daniel took great pride in his family. His favorite hobbies included watching the "Oakland Raiders" football team and fishing when time allowed. A celebration of Daniel's life will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, June 2, 2011 with a visitation 1 hour prior at Tempe Mortuary, 405 E. Southern Avenue. Burial service conducted following the funeral at 12:30 p.m. at National Memorial Cemetery, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road, Phoenix. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Prostate Cancer Foundation in his memory at www.pcf.org. It was so hard to see you that day I'm glad I got to say goodbye. And knowing that your no longer suffering makes us all know that your in a better place. Rest in peace nino danny we all miss u very much..

My Deepest Sympathys' to the entire family. I worked with Danny for many years in the cabinet industry at Mastercraft Cabinets and later Whirlpool Kitchens. He was a very smart man who was very well liked by his subordinates as well as superiors.
He was a very hard working and honest individual.

I have many, many fond memories of Danny and know that he will remain in our thoughts throughout our life.

I met uncle Danny 46 years ago,through Bobbie and Debbie.And it was through him that I met my husband of 40 years.His daughter Dannelle and my husband are first cousins.He was an awesome uncle and a good friend to all who knew him.God can ease your feelings of pain and loss, turn to Him.
