Not sure what to say?

Mr. Dyer was an inspiration to me, he instilled and nutured my love of the theatre. He gave me a part in middle school, the was my start for being involved in the Aurora Youth Theatre, following with getting a degree in theatre and going to Hiram College. It was such an honor to have performed 50 plus years later at the AYT reunion. Mr.Dyer will hold a special place in my heart and memories, so very sorry for your loss, but be comforted in knowing he touched hundreds of people through out...

To the family of Dan: What an amazing teacher he was. Thank you for sharing this wonderful man with all of us in Aurora. God´s Blessings to the entire family

Offering our deepest condolences during this difficult time.

Dan was my teaching partner and mentor at Harmon Middle School many years ago. I remember his wry wit and consistent support. I'm sure he touched the lives of many students throughout his teaching and writing career. My condolences to Joyce and his family.

He was such a kind man and such a fun and talented teacher. His classes are some of my clearest memories. I´m so grateful to have known him and learned from him.

There are not enough words to describe what a special person he was. He will always be my favorite teacher and friend. I'm so sorry for your loss. Carrie Smith
