I first met Dan 3 decades ago thru some mutual friends at WFLA-8. Then we worked together at BIG-13 several years later. Dan was a great photog who also knew how to run a mean assignment desk when given a chance. He had a heart of gold and I look forward to our meeting again in a better place. My sympathies to his family & friends.
