Not sure what to say?

The Dodgers swept the Giants yesterday...I’m sure you had some say in that! Thought of you yesterday!

Danny, I tried to reconnect with you last year but I guess it was too late. Here'a a picture of us from about 1974. See you in heaven.

Danny,
it is with a saddened heart I write this. Growing up with you was amazing, humorous and fun. I can hardly think of a time when we weren't laughing. You had such a boisterous laugh and very contagious.

All the years our family's went camping at Colusa and Clear Lake. Lest we forget Crawdad Creek and Paul taking us to collect firewood. All the water skiing, volleyball (north against the south) and all the dice and card games.
I remember when...

Danny,

I never really thought your day would come. So many thoughts and memories of a lifetime come flooding back...

Years of summer vacations at Clear Lake and Colusa as well as Christmas breaks - from diaper days until you passed. I can truly say you have been my longest and best friend as far back as I can remember!

You and Dave gave me the nickname King James as kids - later shortened to just King. Whenever anyone calls me that today I still think of...

When Judi brought Dan home to introduce him to me, I thought, "yes, this is her soulmate". He greeted me with that warm, beautiful smile that was always on his handsome face. And then a big, bear hug for for the mother of his sweetheart. When Dan spoke of Judi, he called her his "beloved". I have 2 daughters, and I thought, now I have I son. Dan was not only a gentleman, but truly a gentle man. His passing touched my soul and only time will ease the pain of those of us who loved him. We...

My Best Friend, My Best Man
From the very first time I met Danny I knew we would be close friends. We worked together for years, side-by-side, at DeSchmire. All the while working towards a dream Danny had to one day own the restaurant. He wanted me to be a part of it. I was flattered and proud. I feel very fortunate to have shared in his dream. I love Danny very much and will dearly miss him.

Danny boy - my roommate of 16 years - I loved you all that time and I still love you now. Way too many good to mention but not so many that I will ever forget you for the reat of my life. A true brother to me, a true soul mate, God rest your soul and may you lie in peace. I miss you intensely.

May your memories of the wonderful times you shared with your loved one comfort you and your family, today and always.

Danny or DKE as I called him is the nicest man on earth always helping the underdog - I met Danny when we were teenagers around 1976 at a party at Uncle Ray's house - When Dan Came North he Bleed Dodger Blue - We would spend the winter counting down the days until spring training I think we went at least 8 years in a row even the strike year of 1994 - We would always bet on the Giants Dodgers games & Pizza was always shared by the winner - Dan was the first person to use the word Kaboom that...
