Daniel A. Edwards

Thinking of Dan today with fondness and good thoughts. We had much fun with him in the short time we shared our life and campsite with him. RIP, Dan the Man!

Dearest Daniel, I remember teaching you how to ride a bike (my stingray), but forgetting to show you the brakes. I pushed you up the hill to the Gardner's house. You got turned around, and took off down the hill--I went running after you. You crashed at Gruver's. Crying and bloody I took you home. 5 minutes later you were back at my house with bandages and that twinkle in your eye that said "can we do it again". Because of your enormous capacity for love, compassion for others and unselfish...

Our sympathy to Dan's family. We have fond memories of Dan visiting us at our camper and boat in Goldsboro. We will fly the flag he gave us in his memory and to his honor and we will smile when we think of him. He was a kind man and we will miss him. We will not ever forget when he kept Gracie for us while we were on vacation and the fact that he didn't want anything in return. What a blessing he was to us!

Dan you were a good man with a very kind heart. I will never forget you, you made me laugh, cry and you would comfort me when I was sad. I never stopped...

My condolences and prayers go out to the Edwards family. I was a colleague of Dan at Scholastic. He was a warm hearted, kind man. His generous spirit and good humored nature always brought smiles and good cheer to our team. May God bless him and best wishes.

Dan, wow, where to begin? It took me awhile to get myself together, but here goes. I couldn't begin to put all my thoughts and memories into words. We'd be here forever. Dan, you are my friend, my champion, and my brother. You looked out for me all through school. At Highland when I fell at recess you were there to pick me up. At Lemoyne when I fell on the ski slopes, there you were, just materializing out of nowhere, to help me up. I would look up and you were there smiling down at me....

I am so sorry to hear of yor loss. I enjoyed working with Dan at Scholastic. My thoughts and prayers are with Dan's family,

I was fortunate to have Dan as a friend when we both worked at Scholastic- I am so sad to hear of his passing. He was a wonderful man and always spoke very highly of his family- I will miss him.

I lived across the street from Dan and his family growing up. Being 3 years older than me, I didn't interact with Dan much until he heard me plinking away on my new guitar in the garage one day. When I saw him walking over I freaked out like every little kid who sees an older kid making a beeline for them.
