Not sure what to say?

To the family, and especially my friend Sharon. My thoughts and prayers go out to you at this time. Also Dan, Haven't seen you since we all graduated. But have thought of you often over the years. I was happy to see the smiling face of Danny in the obit. As this is how I always seen him around town. Keep those pictures out in the open to remember him. Peace and Love to you all.

Mom Ellenwood, Susan and family,,,,
It's been a long long time since I have seen all of you but I still have wonderful memories of Danny and the family. I'm so sorry to hear of Danny's passing and my thoughts go out to all of you. He was a wonderful man and all of us will miss him.

There's not enough words in the dictionary to define the great man we lost this week. Dan was a great person, father, grandfather, role model, teacher, fire fighter and more. His memory will continue for many generations to come.... He is one of the most honorable and respected men I have ever met and he will be truly missed.

Ellenwood Family:
Iam very sadden to hear of the death of long time friend, i grew up with danny , and when i moved a way 30 yrs ago i kept in touch with him, when we seen each other we would talk about the old days and firedept, as i was a 30yr retired Lt. we would compair how we done it down there (FL) to how they did it up here)MI). he will be missed and he and his family will be in our prayer, God Bless

Dan and Mike,
It doesn't need to be said how important your father was to Chelsea and all the families within...but it does need to said how much it warmed my heart to see "the Chief" in his later years, out and about either checking on a son, driving behind a granddaughter walking from the bus, or just any reason to get behind one of his Chryslers! Always there was a wave and smile. He will be so missed...

Lorine and family,
My most sincere sympathy in the loss of Danny. He was a dear friend to all and I count myself lucky to have been in the friends list.
Love and prayers
