Daniel J. Ely

I still miss this guy. I thought he was one of the coolest guys I've known and didn't hesitate to bend over backwards for his friends. Loved hanging out with him.

One year today yet it feels like an eternity. Dan, you will never be forgotten...thank you from the bottom of my heart for every wonderful memory you gave Andy and I. We love you dearly.

Carol, Ron and Family....I'm so sorry for your loss. May God be with you and keep you safe. Life does not go on, it starts over in darkness. I love you both and I've never even meet you. I will hold your loss forever in my heart.

Ron,Carol and family. I am sorry it took so long but you have my and Lynns sympathy. We too have lost our son John. Dan and John grew up on the baseball fields together and had their times of argument and times of great friendship. Dan was a very polite and an excellent sportsman. I do know you feel and it is never a good feeling. Keep your head up and continue to move forward and always think of the good memories. They are the ones that will stay with you the rest of your life.These are hard...

You two are such wonderful people and have been an inspiration to Don and I as parents.You did a great job raising your 2 boys That is very apparent by reading these posts.Look at how many people's lives Dan touched, and this is just a sampling.We love you very much and are so sorry for this loss.

i was fortunate enough to know dan for the last 9 years or so and be his roomate a couple of times. he was one of the most positive people i've ever known. he was an excellent chef, euchre partner, and had incredible taste in music. the things i've learned from him will be with me always. i'll never forget him.
my deepest sympathy and all my love goes out to the ely's and lukowski's.

I met Dan through my cousin, Craig, and the first impression I got from him was that he was very funny. Always made me laugh. I could tell that him and Craig were very good friends. "We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord" (2 Corinthians 5:8)
