Not sure what to say?

Has it really been 7 years since you passed?! I still see the tribute sign in front of Dodge School in my mind. You are quite a legend in the minds of Twinsburg graduates, yet the stories shared here provided depth to our images of who you truly were. You had a big impact on the lives of many kids within our school district, and are a part of many memories. Thank you for guiding us. You taught us a lot more than you realized. Those who knew you were truly blessed, in Twinsburg and in every...

Dan was my mentor, my friend, my constant help when I first started teaching at Chamberlin High School in 1965, and for many years thereafter. I was so blessed to have him in my corner. Lots of good memories, fun memories.

As with many truly fine human beings, there are a host of stories about them that few people know or remember. My mother, who lived in Peninsula, was a crippled widow who could not drive. I would run into Dan in one of the local coffee shops He was fun to talk too You didnt have to wonder what was on his mind he would tell you He had a sense of humor too He would say to me sit down young man whats going on And we would talk about Richfield current events or other things and you could tell that he cared about his community village or township He wanted his town to stay small friendly he was one of the ones that made it a special place

Wow Dan will really be missed. Have thought of him so often and sad I did not come to visit. Thoughts and prayers to all. Warren and Darlyne Roller

It was nearly forty years ago when I first met Dan. Having bought a chunk of land to build upon I was directed to Dan to have some brush hogging done on my property. Immediately he became my go to guy having invaluable knowledge and the willingness to share. It wasn't long before I would show up with each new addition of my three babies to introduce to him. He would chuckle with delight at their antics. For about three summers he grew Strawberries. I along with my three would show up and pick...
