Daniel Santiago Escobedo

Daniel Santiago Escobedo, 23, of Denton passed away on March 9, 2024, in Washington State. He was born in Denton, Texas on July 18, 2000, to Rosa Noriega and Santiago Escobedo. 

From an early age Danny was a hard worker and had big dreams he held so much potential and was going to do great things in life. Once he graduated high school he enlisted in the Army to serve his country in which he made his mom and family extremely proud. He went on to sign a 4 year contract to serve in the military and was presumed to reenlist or join law enforcement. While he was in the Army he quickly became a Company Armorer where his work ethic, dependability and sense of humor were always highlighted. Anybody and everybody that knew Danny knew how much he enjoyed cars whether that was racing, working on them, attending car scenes or enjoying a late night cruise with friends. When he wasn’t doing either of those he was spending time with family as that was the most important thing to him. Danny always lived in the moment and “was here for a good time not a long time” as he would say. Danny had such an impact on so many people as he had such a pure heart and always welcomed everyone with open arms. He had such a unique sense of humor that made everyone love him. Danny was always willing to help others and was there for everyone. This is heartbreaking for us but we know our beloved Danny left us doing what he loved most. You will always be in our hearts and never forgotten, We love you Danny. 

He is survived by his wife, Carolina Gloria of Denton, mother, Rosa Noriega, father, Santiago Escobedo, step father, Billy Morales, sisters, Crystal Hernandez of Denton, Briana Mireles of Denton, and brother, Andrew Noriega of Denton and his beloved pitbull, Kilo. 

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 28, 2024 from 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM, at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, Tx. A Vigil service will be held at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton, Texas.
