Daniel Fasano

Asbury Park

Daniel Fasano, born on June 4th 1992, died suddenly in his Asbury Park home on December 18th. Daniel radiated a powerful kindness immediately felt by those fortunate enough to be in his presence. He often dedicated this kindness to friends and family, for whom he would always have time and always offer an empathetic ear. His intuition, as well as his compassion, allowed Daniel to withhold all judgments and accept everyone. He selflessly loved both people and animals. An avid snowboarder, he enthusiastically met the challenges of the outdoors. He was also a meticulous person, expressing himself in his unique fashion sense. But above all, Daniel was humorous, loving, and playful, gifting laughter and joy to others in his wake. He is survived by his parents, Terry and Patrick, his brother Patrick, his sister Anna, and a large extended family.

Visitation will be held at Buckley Funeral Home, 509 Second Avenue, Asbury Park on Sunday, December 21st from 1-4pm, with a Service at 3:30pm. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Waldorf School of Princeton,1062 Cherry Hill Road, Princeton, NJ 08540. Condolences may be expressed on our website: www.Buckleyfuneralhome.

Not sure what to say?

Another year has gone by, and Dan, you still are in my heart. I dedicate much of my future work to honoring your memory and helping others who many need help in their lives. I know this is what you would have wanted. Love you and all the Fasanos forever!

O.G. at night

To the Fasano Family,
You did something really special raising this guy. Daniel was a very good friend to me for multiple summers when I was an awkward teen girl vacationing with family in Ocean Grove. I stayed overnight at your home in Asbury park once at thanksgiving too. I remember we watched the entire Matrix trilogy in one night. He was a VERY respectful gentleman to me at a time when most young boys were jerks. He was SO funny and always had me bursting out into laughter. I know...

I only recently heard the terrible news. My deepest sympathies to you and your family.

Dear Daniel,
You are so missed, so loved, and so unbelievably gone...Your sensitive soul; your brilliant mind; your compassion; your sweet, kind nature; your laughter; your quiet, often wry, sense of humor; YOU Daniel...YOU never leave the hearts that are forever broken and altered with an inexplicable grief ...

So saddened to learn of your overwhelming loss. Our family extends our deepest condolences to all of you

Daniel had the best laugh and was the nicest friend I could have ever asked for. I spent over six years with him and remember him as if he never left us. He gave so many people the best love and never once hurt anybody. I would take snowboard trips with him up to hunter mountain and his dog finally opened up to me last winter lol he's a great dog. I still have the best memories of Daniel and will forever contuine to be as loving and compassionate as Daniel is. My family loves Daniel and my...

MY PRAYERS GO OUT TO ALL OF DANIEL'S FAMILY & FRIENDS. OUR CONDOLENCES DURING THIS DIFFICULT TIME. HE WAS AN AMAZING PERSON AND I FEEL VERY BLESSED TO HAVE KNOWN HIM.

Dear Pat and Terry,
So sorry to hear the news.

Shocked and absolutely heart broken. My daughter has been a friend of Daniel's and I have had the pleasure of Daniel's company in my home on occasion. You were always a respectful young man. She adores you! She would often say, "mom, he's the sweetest guy I know". Our deepest condolences to the Fasano Family. You are in my thoughts and prayers. You are missed Daniel. May you rest in peace. Xo
