Muriel, Justine and Clarissa, I will always remember Dan's deep laugh and smiling eyes. One of the kindest, gentlest people ever. My thoughts are with you.

Dear Muriel, my visits to San Francisco were not complete without seeing you and Dan. He was one of the finest men I've ever known - kind, hard-working, friendly, and truly funny. I am so very sorry.

HI Muriel and girls, I remember you and Dan well from my wonderful summers in S.F. and as I now, 25 years later.. have my own family of three girls, I cannot imagine the grief. i hope there is light somewhere in the darkness.
