I'm so sorry I couldn't to be with you for Daniel's memorial, but my thoughts were with you yesterday as you celebrated his life. Dear Muriel, my visits to San Francisco were not complete without seeing you and Dan. He was one of the finest men I've ever known - kind, hard-working, friendly, and truly funny. I am so very sorry.
