So sorry for your loss. Your dad was a great person. I will always cherish the great times we had sitting around the kitchen table with mom and dad. Your family was always treated Jennie and me like family. I know he will be greatly missed.

Dear Fitzgerald Family,
I had the honor of working in Area Three with Dan for several years. We would see one another occasionally after each of us had been promoted to sergeant. What a wonderful man and great police officer with a quick wit and a hearty laugh. Men like Dan make the world a much better place. Please accept my heartfelt condolences.

My sincere condolences to the family. Dan's leaving us is a loss. My years working with and talking to him helped form me as a Detective and a person.
