Not sure what to say?

Working onstage with Danny was a delight and a privilege. He was a consummate artist and human being who unwittingly gave me lessons in both areas. I'm forever grateful that our paths crossed.

I do not ever remember him without a smile on his face.
He was not only an actor, but an accomplished artist.
He was the funniest uncle.

I was honored to have worked with Dan in several shows and direct him in one show. He knew his craft and practiced it well. I know he will be missed but never forgotten. To me, he will always be my theater "Bro". Now, Dan, Heaven is your stage.

My family knew Dan when my sisters and I were just kids through community productions at PA Playhouse. My sister Rebecca Valvik was Gretel in The Sound of Music. Thank you Dan for being a great inspiration and bright light for so many. Sending prayers to his family and friends for hope, comfort and peace as you mourn his loss. Heaven sure gained an angel.

Danny's Legacy of Love will be that, although we knew he loved us all collectively, we also knew that each one of us was valued and loved for who we were and would always hold a special place in his heart. Whenever we feel challenged, we'll picture his dancing, singing and silliness and we'll be able to once again, see a light shining.

Take your final curtain call, Uncle Danny. When you suggested I try out for the role of Winthrop in The Music Man when I was 10, and I got it, you put me on a path that I still travel as I engage with the public all through my careers. I hope you are reunited with my dad and Uncle Fran on the heavenly stage, and I can't begin to imagine who in that group is getting a word in edgewise.

Dan was a very talented guy. I knew him through his late son Mark. My condolences to his entire family.

It was sad to hear of Dan’s passing. I cut his hair for many, many years. I loved hearing the stories of his many shows he was in, especially Music Man. He would show me sketches he was working on at the time and just such an unbelievable talent he had! He used to book his appointments under the name Robert Redford because he jokingly would say they looked so much alike! I can still hear his laugh. God Bless you Dan. It was an honor to cut your hair and be your friend. You are enjoying the...

My sincerest condolences to the Flynn family. I cut Dan’s hair for many, many years and absolutely loved hearing his stories of the shows he was in as well as seeing his sketches he would do, which I must say were unbelievable! He loved being able to help out with the young students in the high school plays and sharing his wisdom. He used to make his appointments under the name Robert Redford because he would tease that they looked so much alike. A true Christian heart! May he enjoy allll...
