Daniel John "Dan" Frederickson

Dan taught me how to do a back-flip dive by observation and correction and after I mastered it, he admitted to never doing one himself! So many evening barbecues and songs, wonderful memories starting at boot camp, then Orlando and visits years down the road. I didn't learn about the tragedy until I was looking for an address to send my retirement invitation. Dan was an amazing and always giving friend, still missed and never forgotten.

Daniel, I want to thank you for being my friend. Still to this day, whenever certain songs come on the radio, I think about you. I was looking forward to you getting out of the Navy. I still have the resume you sent me to review. I miss that we never got to fish or hunt together. I look forward to seeing you again some day. Rest in Peace Brother.
