Not sure what to say?

My Uncle Daniel is with me all the time. I was/am very lucky that he was a strong member in my mother's family. I wrote about him before but I don't mind acknowledging him again and again! He was one in a million!

I loved my Uncle Dan so very much. He was 'One in a Zillion.' He was very, very tall and when I was very young, he would visit my home and stand on his head for quite time! But as he aged and I aged, I got to know him fairly well and he was one of THE MOST INTERESTING PEOPLE I HAVE EVER MET! I did not know Daniel Friedenberg (DF) personally but did get a sense of his personality through his writings. He was a remarkable scholar

To Dan's family. Dan was a very kind man with a great heart for others. I will miss our phone conversations and his kind letters. We will all miss Dan. Ellen

I feel very grateful to have been given
the oppurtunity to get to know Daniel in
the degree that I did. What an interest-
ting & intelligent man. Daniel had a great sense of humor & never failed to make me laugh. Daniel was up front in what he stood for. Daniel so loved his 4 children & talked very highly of them. Sam & Danielle were so entertaining & nurturing to there father during his time in Portland, Or. My thoughts are with the family of Daniel M Friedenberg.

Sorry to hear about Daniels passing. Dan was gracious enough to send me his family history a couple of years back. Dan Friedenberg, Canada

I love and miss you Uncle Dan. You taught me so much. You gave me the only real family I knew. I will stay close to your children..and miss my favorite Uncle.
Love forever, Merry
