I met Dan in high school through some mutual friends and although I didn't attend Ballard, I caddied with and hung out with Dan before I went to college. I had not been in touch with Dan for some time and was shocked when I had learned that he had passed away. I hope you will be comforted in knowing that Dan was one of the nicest and funniest guys I had ever met. I (along with many others) considered him an "old soul" who would have given the shirt off his back to make sure that no one else...
