Not sure what to say?

It is very sad to say goodbye to a special person like Dan. I worked for him at the Bank of New York he was a true gentleman and leader. My deepest sympathy to the Ganci family.

A life is based on what you give to others. By this standard Dan had a life that was rich and full beyond measure as he gave so very much to his family and friends. He was always there for you with his smile. He listened to your story. He dispensed advice with that unique voice. He had the special ability to make you feel special. It was an honor and distinct pleasure to know him and count him as a friend. God bless him and may His blessings flow on Eileen and his family...

Dan was always there for us. He was one of the good guys, one of the guys in the white hats. He set an example for all of us. I am sad and sorry that I can not be there and I feel very far away at this moment. My prayers are with Eileen and her children. I will miss his smile and laugh.

Eileen just want to say how sorry I am on your loss. I worked with Dan at Chase and he was always so helpful and such a gentleman. He will be sorely missed and although I was forcibly retired in 2004 and moved to Va I still think of the many people I worked with with great fondness and Dan was certainly on that list. Again my husband and I offer our deepest sympathy to you and your childen and know that heaven is a better place today because he is there.

We had a saying in the 1179th Deployment Brigade at Fort Hamilton:"God bless America, God bless the 1179th and God bless God for letting us be in the 1179th." With a broken heart, I need to amend this saying today:"God bless God for letting us have Dan Ganci." My sincere condolences to Eileen, Dan and Amy.

1179th was all the better because of Dan. he will be missed.
