Love Ya Buddy Sue Rusty and Fred

My family and I will miss you greatly.

I was so sorry to hear of Danny's passing. I was blessed to spend quiet of bit of time with all teh E and H football players as a trainer. I have fond memories of two-a-days, KPHI and Gam keg parties and being in the middle of the kegly brother hugs. Garnsey was always this sweet gentle guy with that mischieveous grin. I will be praying for your wife and daughters and their loss. May God bless you and keep you. Love,

Kit Tate

We are deeply saddened by the loss of our neighbor and friend Dan Garnsey. Our prayers are with you, Shari, Liz, Sam and Nikki.

Danny grew up a few blocks from me and we went to the old Fort Hill Elementary, until busing came after third grade. He caused me and the rest of the linemen a lot of extra wind sprints at Sandusky, lol. Stand up guy.

You learn a lot about a person through this interaction either as a team member or an opponent. I learned so much from Danny during...

Memories of what was my final game as a Pioneer, have stayed with me for over 30 years as if they were yesterday. So too will my memories of Danny.

I worked with Dan years ago at Virginia Baptist Hospital. We soon discovered that he knew my husband from childhood (they played ball against each other). He was a wonderful counselor @ work and clearly loved his family. I have 3 daughters and we often joked about our "parallel universes". I'm so sorry to hear of his passing and will keep the family in my thoughts and prayers.

Shari,

Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and the girls. Dan was a wonderful guy and am very happy to be part of the extended Garnsey family. While Dan left us way too soon, I find consolation that he is with Eleanor and Si.
