Not sure what to say?

How difficult to lose your best friend and daughter. Memories of horseshoes, a chocolate cake at a Christmas party, Dan's ready smile and calm manner. So young and so strong of heart. Keeping your family in my prayers. Can only assume that God needed something well built and called Dan home. They are there waiting until you an join them in Peace. Blessings.

Dan was a teammate for both track and football, he was a tremendous athlete and a great person. I learned of his passing while attending the 50th reunion of the class of 1968. I lost touch with Dan after graduation but never forgot him. May he rest in peace.

So sorry for your loss. Just found out about Dan's passing. Mom and I hope if there is any thing we can do we are here for you. Praying for you and your family. Still have fond memories of Dan finishing our house on 27th Street. Teaching your kids to swim in the pool. He was a good man and the world is a sadder place with him gone.

How blessed my family was to know the Gibbs. From little league to high school football, through vacations births and deaths we have been linked together through a lifetime of events. I love you Barb and I love Dan. What wonderful friends. you are. After Mike died Dan took to helping and building and fixing and advising . Everywhere I look in my house there is a reminder of Dan. I will miss you. Rest in peace.

Dick and Betty were my younger brother Joe's Godparents. The Gibbs kids always seemed like extended brothers and sister. I recently had a memory of playing army in our front yard. Debby and I were the nurses and Danny, Mike and the other boys were the troops. Wasn't that just the other day? I send my...

Barb and Jason, I am so sorry for your loss. I have fond memories of Dan as a our youth baseball coach, and listening to the world according to Dan at your kitchen table. I have always admired Dan as a fine craftsman, veteran, and dedicated family man.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Barb and Jason,

I am so sorry to hear if Dan's passing. He was a very great, talented man. My thoughts and prayers are with you both.

Barb and Jason and the entire Gibbs Family, Dan will be remembered as a great family man and successful builder. His talents are show cased all around Gull Lake. I have a lot of fond memories of Dan, all the way back to our High School Football and Track teams Dan held the school record in the pole vault for many years and was a hard hitter of the football field. Dan helped me many times with building projects at my home at Gull Lake, he took care of the details and everything always turned...
