Not sure what to say?

DEAR SARAH, I AM SORRY FOR THE LOST OF YOUR BROTHER DANNY , HE WAS A HAPPY PERSON WITH A GOOD HEART. GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY. ROXANN(TEBEAU)KUKAWSKI

Mary,
Hard to believe Dan is gone! Both he and you were such an influence both at Davenport and in my start in EMS and the Fire Service.
I got a kick out of reading the prior post...hearing "Skippy" for the first time in 24 years and remembering the "Big Guy in the little white truck". Man that guy could make me laugh, and now so many years latter, cry.
The statement "Dan spent his life caring for others before himself" is an understatement, starting at East Grand Rapids PD...

Heaven is blessed by such a kind soul. What a great man to have known.

May the love and support of your friends and family help you past this difficult time.

Mary,
It was a privilege to know Dan and I am thankful to have had the opportunity. My sympathies and thoughts are with you and your family, as I am sure are the thoughts of many, many EMS folks, especially IC's, from across the state. Take care.

Spent many wonderful days with Dan having grown up three houses from him and attending school for 12 years with him. So sorry to hear of his passing. Dan was always there for others. God bless his family.

I was stunned to hear the news of Dan ("Skippy's") loss.
He was one of the good guys out there.
His style of teaching made learning interesting and fun.
I am honored to have had him as an instructor.
I will keep a special thought for you Mary and family.
Rest easy Dan

Dear Mary,

"Skippy" with a "Y". Wonderful memories. When my sons, Zach & Matt, told me they had run into you guys in Ada a while ago, I was flooded with nostalgia, and delighted to know that such wonderful people had touched their lives.
You and your family have been set adrift in a swirling sea of pain and confusion...but what a legacy of deep love and laughter you have to fall back on.
For your loss and in the days ahead, you and your family will continue to be in my...
