Daniel H. Gombos Sr.

So many fond and fun memories of Uncle Dan!; Years of Christmas gatherings and gift swaps, Otis picnics and fried turkey in the can and just being with him over the years to enjoy his positive life and his wonderful humor. My condolences to his entire family.

I met Dan many years ago when he went to Washington DC on the American Warrior Trip. I was honored to be his guardian and accompany him as we traveled to all the different military monuments. I knew he was special the minute I met him. He was not just an American Hero, he was also a kind and honorable man. I will miss his yearly Christmas card. Dan, may you RIP as you complete your final mission.

Dan and family, I remember your Dad well from our days as youngsters and at Holy Family. My prayers and thoughts are with you at this difficult time. Know he is resting in peace with your Mom.
