Not sure what to say?

Dear Cathy & Family - I worked for Dan almost the whole time he was Manager of Operations at Metro. He was the best boss I've ever had - he supported his people to the hilt, gave them the resources and information needed to do their jobs, and demanded the best from everyone while at the same time not taking things too seriously. His smile and sense of humor could light up a whole, huge conference room. And he was compassionate and fair.

My favorite memory of Dan is from when he and...

Cathy & family:

My sincere sympathy. Dan was such a gem. His laughter and his very presence could fill up a room. I know his passing is very hard for all of you, and I hope wonderful memories will help ease your pain over time. Thank you for such a lovely and moving memorial service for Dan on Thursday. It was nice to share laughter and tears with others whose lives were enriched by knowing him.

Dear Cathy and Family,
John and I wish to express our sincere condolences for Dan's passing. He was a wonderful man and lived life to the fullest, and was appreciated by his many friends. His memory will go on and stay in our hearts. "The good die young", just another way of saying, "leave them wanting more" and he did.
With love, Linda and John Vacchiery

Dear Dan and Family,
I know you have passed to the other side, but I know you can communicate with us still. From knowing your daughter, Beth, you must be a spectacular spirit. I never got the chance to meet you, but my thoughts and prayers have been with you this whole time. I write to you because well, Beth requested this a few weeks ago and I let time slip away. So here goes a little joke that you would have enjoyed: A recreational boater, a tugboat crewman, and an old salt sailor...

Dear Family of Dan,
I have worked at Metro since 1981 and I had some great times working with Dan during the construction of the tunnel. I'm a Safety Officer and often have to work within the confined world of rules of can's and don'ts. Dan was very creative and often thought "outside the box" for solutions - something I really do appreciate. I have missed both his humor and creativity since he left Metro. My hope for all is that all the wonderful memories you have of Dan will warm your...

I'm James Callahan. I worked at Metro as a graphic designer and worked with Dan occasionally in the Exchange Building. He was wonderful to work with, always with a ready smile. I was proud of him when he became Manager of Ops. My condolences to his family. God bless his memory.
