We were saddened to learn of Dan's passing. He was a good friend. Buddha smiles...

I met Dan while I was living Carmel during the late 70ies. We often talked about his traveling to our home in Southern California. I´m so sad it never happened. What a terrific man, and friend. We talked frequently through the years, and our conversations were always interesting and humorous. I miss hearing his views, and will fondly remember the good times we had and our many conversations.

I met Danny Boy a fews years back waiting in the Dim Sum line every Sunday morning at the Marin Farmers Market. He was an entertaining character. Being from the east coast as well. We would give each other a good razzing while waiting for our dim sum. RIP Danny Boy.

Danny was an amazing man . For many years Danny walked down Marin ave in the mornings. He had conversation with so many neighbors that it would take him 2 hours to walk 6 blocks. He was truly the Mayor of Tam Valley . So many people enjoyed laughing and deep conversation with The Gentle Giant . A peaceful man who cared for all. We will miss his fresh berries and fruit from his amazing garden. Most of all we will miss his daily presence. The staff at Coyote Coffee .

Sorry to hear about Dan.Was his garbageman for years.We dubbed him "The Prince of Pineo".Made great pizzas.Us garbage guys will always remember him.A great guy to know,a ball to talk to.Thanks for the memories Dan!
