Not sure what to say?

San was a classmate of ours. Boyd Vounty Class of 1976. Dan was always smiling and made friends easy. He was remembered at our 45th reunion with our other departed classmate's.

I was lucky enough to work with Dan for the last 3 years at CDK. Being new to the automotive industry, Dan could not have been nicer in answering any questions I had. The patience and kindness he showed me will not be forgotten. RIP "Dan The Man"

I was a DA with Dan on the GM team and had some great times with Dan. We would have our own cocktail hour with our team at some of the GM meetings and bring our own wine etc and share some great laughs! Dan was a great person and friend and it seems surreal that he is no longer with us. I will miss my friend and his big heart as well as his amazing smile. May he rest in peace and enjoy everlasting happiness.

I worked with Dan the past 4 years and he was an incredible team member! I always will remember his infectious smile and fantastic laugh. We had some great times and conversations over a glass of Irish Whiskey when we traveled together. Dan was always positive, upbeat and willing to help anyone he met. We will miss him tremendously, but I have solace that he is at peace with God and doesn't have any pain. We (CDK and GM team) miss and love you Dan aka "Danimal" "Dan the Man".

35 years of the deepest kind of friendship.
In those years we grew to know each other in a way that, perhaps, two guys rarely do. Dan's death hurts my heart, as I'm sure it does to anyone who grew close to him. But memories of his love and friendship rushes in to ease the pain. Love you Danno

Dan has been a part of my life ever since Diana and I have been together. He spent virtually every holiday with us, played cards with us, was our grill and turkey fryer king and on a number of occasions made sure we didn't have any Scotch left over by the time he slept in our guestroom. I had the privilege of not only helping Dan after his Whipple surgery when he was 1st diagnosed but was with him every day he was in the hospital and the hospice with this last round. Needless to say, he...

So saddened to hear of our classmate and friend Dan's passing. I had the privilege of attending elementary and high school with him. I can remember that tall, skinny blonde curly haired boy and always smiling even though he had to get braces. Was still as cute with them as without. We never understand why we have to give our loved ones up, but God had to have had a very good reason for taking our very own Dan Hankins home. We can only pray now that God gives his family and friends the...

Dan and I met only 4 short years ago when we came onboard with CDK to work on the GM account. Dan and I became friends immediately. During the long 10 days of training in Seattle we had some down time to go explore the area. Taking a ferry over to Bainbridge Island and drinking craft beer was just one of the best memories I have of our time together. He was always a positive person even during his health challenges. The Heartlanders will never forget our "Dan the Man."

I had the privilege of working with Dan @ BZ. He was a Sales VP & I was in Marketing. Whenever I saw Dan he was kind, respectful & sweet. Whenever Dan called me he was kind, respectful & sweet. Dan was a love. I will remember him fondly for that & I am so sorry for his family & close friends' loss. Count on my prayers & To Dan: May you rest in eternal peace forever.
