I first met Dan sixty plus years ago, on the basketball court, during recess, at Holy Cross school. He was Danny then , and pretty much ruled the school. I had just arrived from New Hampshire to start the seventh grade, and Danny was one of the first kids to welcome me. I had never met someone who talked so much or had that much energy. Just "good people". Every time I go by the Plumtree/Chalmers corner I think of 6 Feet Under playing in the "Berard garage" for the whole neighborhood. The man could sing. My condolences to all of Dan's family and friends. He will be missed.

Hung out with Dan at Nathan Bill park in our youth. Played a lot of baseball and basketball with Dan over the years. He was always fun to be around with his jovial attitude and his ability to give our teammates nicknames that fit them perfectly. Lost track of Dan over the years but never forgot Him. He was a good friend. My condolences to His family.
