Daniel Harper

I met Dan Harper in 1996 when he was working as a boat Captain and readying Corban for their first adventure together while I was restoring my parent’s boat and dreaming of better days. He was a great guy and we struck up an easy friendship that would be renewed through the years. When Dan was ready to leave RI and move Corban down to NYC for the official send-off, I had the pleasure of crewing her down Long Island Sound to Manhattan with him. Although I never met Dan, I will forever remain appreciative for his mentoring of my son. As a father, It is an extraordinary feeling to know that a generation above to notice of the generation below. With great thanks to Dan.

What a beautiful tribute to your father. He was pioneer in the nautical world for sure but, his greatest accomplishment was being your Dad. Never forget his passion for live and his love for you!

Grief can be so hard, but our blood bonds we share in Jesus, so many cherished family memories, give unity knowing we will see Capt. Daniel Alton McK-Harper again. Loving Dan & all our family always!
