Not sure what to say?

Dan was a true gentleman and was a kind and intelligent mentor to me at the Cleveland Clinic. He always was patient, had kind words and amazing advice. I learned so much from him and am truly grateful for his friendship and support.

We had the privilege to clean for Dan for the last 8 years. He was always so gracious and kind to all our staff and beloved by our office staff. Our deepest sympathies to his family. We will miss seeing him every month.

So many fond memories of Dan for me, both in the Accounting Dept. and in the Law Dept. Bought me my first rotisserie chicken at a 7/11 one night after closing out an Accounting party, and shared some life values with this 22-year-old never forgotten. Pitched a softball with backspin, for which I was grateful (as shortstop). Pioneered national financial landmarks for the Clinic. A gentle executive, a thoughtful teacher, and a leader's leader. Was a privilege to serve you in Finance, Law,...

Danny and I go way, way, way back, starting at St. Aloysius where we were altar boys and on the football team to The Cleveland Clinic where we both served as Administrative Staff for well over two decades. A great colleague, gentleman and friend. A life well lived. My deepest sympathies to his family and countess friends. Dale Goodrich

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Danny was a great buddy and tough St. Al's football player. He and my wife, Anne, attended grade school together at St. Al's. He and I (and many of the St. Al's gang) went to JCU at the same time. Friday nights at McGarry's on East 185th were great fun. I never met Danny that he didn't have a smile and a clap on the back and some dough for a growler or two. A classy gentleman in every. A true "Man For Others". Onward on, Danny. Dan and Anne Burns Chicago

Dan was part of the leadership team that hired me at CCF many years ago. And, I'm only one of the thousands of people Dan helped along the way by being a great manager, leader and colleague. Condolences to the extended Harrington family. R.I.P. Dan.

Very saddened to hear of Dan's passing. A real gentleman and outstanding leader at CCF. I appreciated our time working together. My condolences to the family.

I was Dan´s secretary at the Clinic for 9 years, starting 1981. Dan was one of the kindest and best person I have had the privilege to know. I know he will be deeply missed. My sincere condolences to his family. Eileen Hilton
