Not sure what to say?

I miss you so much. You were the best Dad ever

Jan, Daniel, Jennifer, Jodi, Jamie and extended family - his ministry lives on in all of us. Our mourning for his passing pales in comparison to our immense gratitude that such a great Christian LIVED!

May God's grace be with you now, and always. Through Christ our Lord - Amen.

Dear Jan, Daniel, Jennifer, Jodi, Jamie and families,

I was so saddened to hear from Carla Rieben that Dan had died. I have such wonderful memories of Dan and the entire family beginning when I was three years old--piano classes, lessons, recitals, musicals (What's Gnu at the Zoo), and babysitting first Daniel and Jennifer and then Jodi, too. I always felt like part of the family.

Please know my loving thoughts and prayers are with you all, and that God will hold you in his...

Dear Hemany Family, My name is Gini Smith Steigerwalt. My Mom and Dad were Julia and Guy Smith who lived for a short time in an apartment on 16th and Union. My Mom talked about the boys Danny and Dick and her time there. Years later I had to take some courses at LCCC when it was on 5th and Hamilton in the old Court House. I had Anita's room and Peter was in high school. Mr. Bell lived their too and Mrs. Hermany had a Day Care. It was a wonderful experience for me. I only met Dan and...

Dear Mrs. Hermany and Family,

My deepest sympathy on the passing of Mr. Hermany. I was a piano student of his in the late 50's and early 60's and will always remember him with great fondness. I wish that he knew what a positive impact he had on so many of his students.
Please know that you are in the thoughts and prayers of others during this most difficult time.

To the Hermany family,
I so admired him and am so grateful for the love of piano he instilled in me. Both my mother and I were in hand bells with him also. The recitals at the Women's Club... extraordinaire. He taught me the beauty of being a professional and a playing with class. He will be missed.
Blessings to all

To the Hermany family: Deepest sympathy on the loss of your husband/father/grandfather. I have very fond memories of Mr. Hermany from my early childhood piano lessons. He was a major influence in my lifelong love of playing, understanding and enjoying music, which I have passed down to my own children. He will be missed. May you all find peace and comfort in the days to come.

Mr. Hermany will be missed at Trinity in Homewood by so many. He has taught my 11yo handbells for the last 3 years. He touched so many lives and was a blessing to all. Our prayers to his family during this difficult time.

We will miss Dan at South Highland Presbyterian Church. He led our handbell choir and we know he is still ringing in Heaven! With sympathy, we offer our deepest condolences to his family. Sincerely, Joan and Jerry Lowe
