Not sure what to say?

Nancy,

Even today I find it hard to put into words the sadness I feel when I think of Dan. I knew from the time I met Dan on the Railroad and worked with him, that he was truly a special person. He was the one I could always count on to give me the correct information when I needed it for payroll sheets. Dan was an inspiration to our family. We enjoyed our many times together and will cherish our memories with him. Hopefully, we can remember to hold on to the "unbelievable" as we continue on... In our hearts and prayers...

Our deepest condolences to the Hoekstra family. Dan meant so much to me in guiding my career. Dan was loved by many. I will miss his laugh. No longer in pain, you see the love and affection by so many. May your spirt live on in the ones the cared for you.

Aunt Nancy and Family,

My thoughts and prayers are with you. Uncle Danny was just a beautiful person and we are all blessed for having him in our lives. We will all miss him terribly.

With love,
Alissa

The events over the weekend (and monday) showed the impression "uncle Dani" left with many. I was honored to take part in everything, and have his pic now added to my fridge/personal wall of fame.
Much love,
Brian
