In the 50's and early 60's my family lived two doors down from Dan on Gardena Street. Our families were very close back then and we had a close-knit group of childhood friends who played endless hours along the alley behind our homes. We spent several occasions together at Donnell Lake in Michigan where my folks owned a cottage. I will cherish the memories of the times we laughed and played together.
