Scott & Mary, Words cannot describe the depth of sadness and loss that Gray and I feel upon hearing of Daniel's passing. Daniel's obituary is wonderful, but only a fractional description of the wonderful young man he was. He was an exemplary Boy Scout and gentleman. This world will miss his positive impact from the talents, spirit, & personality he shared. There must be a labor shortage for angels in Heaven, because that's the only good reason I can think of for the good Lord calling...

Summer of 2007, a seven-year-old in London patted me on the shoulder and told me everything is going to be okay after I had lost my passport and missed my flight back to the US. He was right, and I never forgot that kindness. Thank you, Daniel.
