Read MoreI personally did not know Lt Daniel Hyde. I have gotten to know him through my son Tyler Ray. My son served under him in Iraq. They were very close. He speaks of him often and Tyler was there when Daniel passed away. We lift Daniel´s family up in prayer. Daniel has paid the ultimate price for our freedom in the USA. Our family will always keep him close to our hearts.

I have been thinking of you often Daniel. I am truly surprised how someone I have never met can be on my mind so often. I hope you have found peace in your last adventure. I still remember the afternoon I was given a dog tag with your name on it. Even though we never meet face to face, or even over social media, I think of you often. I know you were an amazing you man.
