Not sure what to say?

Dan Ivey was an amazing person. He was full of energy, caring, considerate, compassionate, and an adrenaline seeker. Dan was very courageous evident by all the medical issues he faced and yet remained stoic and never complained about his problems and the pain he was suffering from. Dan was solid example how we should face adversity and yet present a positive spirit. God Bless You.

To the Ivey family - Just heard about Dan's passing. So very sorry and you are all in my thoughts and prayers. So many memories of time together in Finley during our school years. Dan always made me smile and I am beyond sad to hear of his passing. God bless you all. Bill

So sad to learn of Dan's passing. Even thought we didn't hang out; when we did run into each other Dan was always friendly, kind and "smiling." Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers.

I knew Dan for a very long time. We played 3 years of sports at RIVER VIEW, in Finley. He always gave a120 percent. He was an outstanding guy to be around. He always has a smile on his face. He will be missed, but NEVER FORGOTTEN!!! RIP DAN!!!!

I am so very sorry of hearing about Dan's passing. Sending prayers Melissa to you and your beautiful family during this very painful time. God Bless you all.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

Very sad to hear about Dan´s passing. Best to his family during this time and in the future. Dan was a good man and he is on my very short list of best basketball referees during my many years coaching. Very professional, hard working and consistent. It was always good to have him reffing and to talk with him.

Sending my deepest condolences to the families. Danny was a very good friend of mine in High school.

To Dan's family -- I am so sad to learn of his passing. Thinking of him, my first thought is of his huge grin, his ready laugh, and his perpetually fun-loving attitude. Please know you will all be in my thoughts and prayers.
