It was really nice seeing all of you Jahnke's today, I only wish that both of your parents were still here and we had all been together celebrating something like a wedding. I will always remember your parents with a smile.....and that is my best memory of your Dad, his wonderful grin and that sparkle in his eyes! They were both very special people, they were fun (!) and I am thankful to have known them. Loving thoughts are with you all as you go through this very difficult time.

Sorry we can't be there and we will keep your family in our prayers. We will miss your Dad. Sam (Gene)was so appreciative to hear from your Dad a couple of years ago. Sam has Macular Degeneration in both eyes, and does not drive at all so we do not go far home anymore. Tell both your Aunts hello for us.

Your Father will be greatly missed. I will always remember his sense of humor and the time he fixed the dent I got in my Dad's car so I wouldn't be grounded for life....
