Not sure what to say?

We are very saddened by Dan's passing, but feel fortunate to have known him. When we came to Vernon from NYC, Dan was our historian, and introduced us and our grandchildren to life in the country and on the farm. We remember his lecture at the Historical Society and the photographs of the early years of Vernon and his family farm. Whenever we ran into Dan in town, he was always generous with his time, sharing various Township news with us. We express our sincere condolences to Carol and...

Dan's knowledge, compassion and good humor made him great company. I feel it an honor to have known him. He will be missed.

Carol, we are so very sorry to hear of Dan's passing. Beautiful memories we shared will remain in our thoughts. Dan and I cannot attend your service because of illness. We are here for you if there is anything we can do for you. Know that we hold Dan in our hearts.

Please accept our deepest sympathy in the loss of Dan.

Dear Carol and family,

I cannot say how sorry I am to hear of Dan's passing. He was a wonderfully witty and interesting soul. I enjoyed talking to him immensely when I saw him throughout the years. He was one of a kind.

My prayers and thoughts are with all of you.

Dear Carol;

I learned about your husband's passing through my aunt who reisdes in the area. As I read the beautiful obituary of him I was so warmed by his many contributions and attributes that he gave to his family, friends and community. I felt so happy that you had found and lived with your life with this wonderful man. Your sorrow today must be heavy but I do hope that in time all the cherished memories you have will give you solace, peace and bring happiness once more. My...

My condolences to the entire Kadish family. I was honored to know Dan when I worked for the New Jersey Herald in the early 90's as well as to have been a guest at his marriage to Carol and also a guest several times to their farm. Dan was a very intelligent and interesting man with wonderful stories about his family. May he rest in peace.
