My sincere condolences to the Kanan Family. I met Dan when I was an appraiser with the Assessor's Department. He was always cordial and had time to shoot the breeze with me. Later when I became Assessor, Dan continued to be there for me. Dan will be sorely missed; may he rest in peace.

Our condolonces to the Kanan Family on the death of their beloved Father,Grandfather and Husband. Dan and I were coworkers and friends for many years. When he moved on to other careers we still stayed in touch. Dan was always a true professional and well respected by all. I never heard him utter an unkind word about anyone or anyone speak harshly about him. He truly was one of the good ones taken before we were ready for him to go.

I am so sad to hear of Dan's passing. He was very involved during the many years that we spent in the Santa Monica Jaycess. Always positive and always up beat. It has been so long since I last was with Dan and only wish that I had been able to be there more.
I will always remember the great times we had doing the many things that we were involved in together.
May he rest in peace, he will be missed by us all.
My condolences to Cheryl and all your family.
