Not sure what to say?

Dan loved music, the out of doors and loved raising the American flag on a near-daily basis. He was a genuine member of the greatest generation. He loved his wife and children fervently. In these times of political unrest, I long for a nation of men like Dan who loved their nation, stood up for his nation and saluted his flag as he stood proudly before it, standing tall and straight.

Sue, your Dad was so lucky to have you advocating for him and looking out for his best interests. Alzheimers is a terrible disease that robs a person, piece by piece and bit by bit, mentally, as well as physically, and it's so hard to witness, but I hope you can find comfort in all of the happy memories and have peace in your heart, knowing what a caring and loving daughter you were to both of your parents!

Please accept our sincere condolences of the 401st Bomb Group Association. May you remember him as part of the Greatest Generation.
