Daniel J. Kerins

I volunteered with Dan at St. Pat´s nursing home and we always had a blast. I remember him giving some of the residents a little more Bailey´s and cheese puffs than was suggested so they could have an enjoyable happy hour. My sincere condolences to the Kerins family, he was a great guy.

Danny was a stern, but fair man. He was a larger than life figure ruling our Union with a iron hand, but fair to all. When Local 221 Aurora joined with Local 2, "Cats" was the first big road show that came to the Paramount in Aurora. I had trouble getting the show loaded in. I called Danny that day and he came out and read the road crew the riot act and carded every member of the road crew. Thanks to Danny I had no more problems.
