Daniel R. "Dan" Kidwell Sr.

Mr. Daniel R. “Dan” Kidwell, Sr., age 52, of Madison, passed away at 6:45 pm on Monday, February 9, 2004, at his residence.

Born June 23, 1951, in Madison, he was the son of Harold H. & Naomi L. Roseberry Kidwell.

Dan was a lifelong resident of the Madison community and was a 1968 graduate of Madison Consolidated High School. He was a career veteran of the US Air Force, having earned his honorable discharge on October 31, 1990 after 20 years of active service. He was an auto technician and was manager of the former Adler’s Service Center in Madison. Dan was a member of the American Legion and enjoyed NASCAR racing. He enjoyed working on and driving cars and motorcycles.

Dan will be missed by his mother, Naomi Kidwell, of Madison; his companion, Patty Lee, of Madison; one sister, Lisa Kidwell Flint, of Hanover; three brothers, Harold “Butch” Kidwell & his wife, Patty, David Kidwell, and Dale Kidwell & his wife, Joy, all of Madison; three nieces, Kala Kidwell, Angela Kidwell and Shelby Flint; six nephews, Kyle Kidwell, Brian Kidwell, Jason Kidwell, Ryan Kidwell, Dylan Kidwell and Chris Kidwell.

Dan was preceded in death by his father, Harold Kidwell, on October, 18, 2002; one brother, Donald L. Kidwell.
