I think about Dan often. I will always be grateful for the music that he shared and taught my son. You are truly missed my friend .

Mr. Kish taught me how to play not only trumpet, but piano in my younger years. I was going into 6th grade when he taught me trumpet, and I am now a junior in high school and I still play trumpet as my primary instrument. I have come so far in my life, I now play 9 instruments and I remember everything Mr Kish taught me. I want to pursue music as my career because of how much Mr. Kish impacted my life by teaching me trumpet in his own special way, and I have nothing but gratitude for him. So...

You will be missed my friend. Wednesday nights will not be the same at my studio without you. You were such a great teacher and Cade owes his excellent saxophone skills to you.

I was friends with Dan at Mayfield High, we graduated together ('77). He was a really cool guy, great sense of humor. Not only was he musically inclined, he was a computer wiz too! Gonna really miss him.

I remember as little boys the fun we had swimming in your pool, riding your horses, and playing like gangsters in your dad's "old fashion car".
