We shared Hungarian heritage (including some colorful linguistic expressions!), our love of the art show, the village we lived in, and our residential proximity. He was an ever-helpful, smiling presence, and universally loved. I always looked forward to seeing him...He will be sorely missed.

I'm met and knew Dan from Auntie's Antique Mall where he had a showcase filled with wonderful antique and vintage metal toys. He was a collector but also knew how to repair all the wonderful mechanical toys. He was a very nice man and always willing to share his knowledge. My sympathies to his family and friends.

I saw Dan at the 2025 54th annual Gates Mills Art Show this past April and gave him a big kiss -as a 2year Gates Mills resident ive only volunteered last year along side Dan, we shared many laughs-im so happy he witnessed the best show ever and im confident saw that the show was in good volunteer hands before he decided to be in God´s loving arms RIP car guy Dan enjoy the ride!
