Not sure what to say?

Delores, We wish you peace in knowing that Dan was a good man and he will be missed. He was a good Rotarian and lived his life by the Rotary motto: "Service above Self" If there is anything we can do to help you durring these difficult times. please let me know. Chuck and Gini Perry

Dear Dan,

You had a big presence, a stong handshake, a big voice and an even bigger heart. We will never forget "Dan's Rules". Chris promises to uphold the "shopping cart" rule #123 and chastise all offenders that leave their carts in the grocery store parking lot. Jim will never forget, a few months before leaving for your final trip to the desert, how proud you were to receive the crystal from the Gig Harbor Rotary Club representing 25 years of perfect attendance. We will never...

Dan was a classmate of mine from elementry to high school. We also lived in the same neighborhood. I remember Dan as a very kind gentle person. My condolences to Delores and family. Norma Ward (Locke)

I guess we never thought anything could stop Dan from the things he loved to do and the people he cared for. The last time I saw him he was sure he would beat his illness, Life took a good man too soon. Tim, Linda, & John Mullins G.H.S.C. a 30 year friend and family.

Deloes, Sorry to hear of Dan's passing. We are very greatful to have stoped by and visited with you and Dan while in Surprise. We will miss him very much. Him in his top hat doing the action. No one will be able to take his place. If you need anything let us know. Love Cheryl and Dana.

"Delores we are so sorry to hear of Dan's passing, we have only known Dan for a few years and always felt he was a gentleman and a friend. Our condolences to you and the family."

Delores ~ We're so sorry to hear of Dan's passing. I'll miss his booming voice and yearly visits. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Dan and my Dad, Ed Heacox, hunted and fished throughout Dan's 40s & 50s and my Dad's 70s & 80s from Mexico to Alaska. He was one of my Dad's best friends. I think Dan won more than one State Trapp Shooting title and may have come close to making an Olympic Team. He will be missed by all who knew him.
