I was an employee of the Kops-Monahan radio station, WTRY in Albany, NY in the 60's and met Dan at that time. 45 years later, I met Dan again in Palm Beach, Florida, where we both were affiliated with WXEL, the Palm Beach's public broadcasting stations. I recognized him immediately, even after all that time, by his distinctive bow tie.
