Not sure what to say?

Hi Dan,
Sorry to hear about your Father. I read the obituary; sounds like a tremendous man. Hope things are going well with you.
Sincerely,
Jim Quinn 77'

Rich, my deepest sympathy for the loss of your father. May his spirit and soul live on in you, your siblings and the grand children.

Gina, Mom told me of your dad's passing. Our deepest condolences to you, your brothers and the entire Lackner family. Your mom and dad were such good friends of our family. Their legacy is reflected in all of their wonderful children. With deepest sympathy from myself and my mom.

Lauri and I send our condolences to Dan and the rest of the family. Your father sounds like a wonderful guy who had a fulfilling life, and passed it onto three generations. God rest him.

My deepest sympathy to the Lackner family. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.

Mr. Lackner was my little league baseball coach back in the mid 60s. His sons Dan and Rich were also on the team. Coach Lackner was a very caring person who cared much more about the kids instead of concentrating on winning. I still remember him vividly to this day and like to think he had a positive effect on my growing up. Rest in Peace, Coach.

Please accept deepest condolences on the loss of your wonderful father, Dan, from your 77 classmates at the University of Notre Dame. May many loving memories with your Dad comfort you and all of your family, and may loving kindnesses of friends and family support and uplift you now and in the days to come. And may the Angels lead Daniel Regis into Paradise. ND Class of 77 Secretary

Dan and Lois Lackner built a home filled with love and respect. I was fortunate to have grown up on the same wonderful street and Richie, Dan, Paul, Davey, Gina and I spent so much time together as kids. Dan and Lois generously hosted us at their home the night our house was burned by a fire. Mr. Lackner was the conscience of the street and kept most of the kids in the neighborhood on the right path. He and my father were best friends.
I'll remember Dan as one of the finest...
