Not sure what to say?

I was so shocked to come across Daniel's obituary, and I was so sad to hear that he's gone. I know Daniel and some of his family from church. What an awesome guy Daniel was. I'm not even sure that he would've even remembered me, but I sure remember him. It was fun times back then when we were all younger. In Jordan 2nd ward!! I'm sorry to hear, but at the same time we all know that he is in a much better place and we have a chance to see him again. Melanie, Ruby, and Kaati, I know that he's...

It's a great comfort to see all that is written about my brother. If anyone is interested in helping us build a memoir about Dan for his daughters, please mail your memory of him to Lynda Lao 7618 S. Birch St. Midvale, UT 84047 or email it to me at [email protected]. Thanks!

Karen,
Although I have only spoken to you on the phone, I wanted to express to you my personal condolences at this difficult time. My own father died when I was six years old, and I know what a void it puts into your life and that of your children. I only knew Dan briefly as we started working together on the Jon Huntsman for Governor Campaign, but I want you to know I shed a lot of tears when I received the news. In such a short time, Dan had an impact on me and we will truly feel his...

John,
Our prayers are with you at this time of sadness.
With much love from all your friends at work,

Dan and I met in our high school debate class at Cyprus High School. He was such a phenomenal young man then. We met up again at a mutual friend's party several years later, too many to count, and as I had always guessed, he had grown into an amazing person. He had such an incredible spirit about him, always full of laughs and love. I will miss him greatly.

Dan and I entered High School together and became fast friends in Debate. He was always a positive person, and I am so grateful we reconnected after high school a couple of years ago, having lunch and even his bright and shining laughter at my 29th birthday party! He is one of the greatest people I've ever known, and my life, as well as others, have been touched by this genuine human being. He is the epitome of what a man should be and someone I'll always measure myself against. Somehow, I...

I only knew Daniel briefly when he was about 12 years old. He was a frequent visitor to the Sunday School class I taught. But that was enough to make me remember him all these years. He was one of the most pleasant kids in the class.

Karen,

Although I know that we will see Dan again, it's hard. I'm so sorry. I will always remember Dan's smile. Both you and Dan have always looked at life with a positive attitude. I have admired that in both of you. All my love during this difficult time to you and the girls. I'm here when you need me, dear friend.

Love,
Mary

Dan was a very special person to me from the moment he entered this world, I am happy that I was there with him from the begining. Dan is one who as a child could do no wrong in his Mother's eye's. I am glad to have been his Mom, I admired him as well. It's been a great comfort to me to see and read people's thoughts about Dan, it makes me happy to see this list grow. I appreciate your sympathy for us, Dan's family, and also Dan's girl's Karen, Lani, and Brookie (Dan's own little family)....
