My DADDY!!!!
Oh, how I have enjoyed reading all of your entries in this guest book!! It is of so much comfort to read these entries! Old, old friends, friends that are so close that they are family...and some I do not know personally, but am so honored that my Dad touched your life!...It makes a daughter's loss somewhat peaceful in knowing how very much he was loved and how many he touched! On a personal note, I could ask God for no greater gift than to have had a father such as Dan...

Dear Lawlers,
Please accept our sympathies for your loss. I have been blessed to know your family.

My sincerest condolences to a wonderful family. It's been a long time since I've seen any of you, but my thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.

Lawler Ladies - I was so sorry to hear about Dan. I know how much he meant to Grace and all of you. May his memory live vividly in you all.

I too was another of Dan's "adopted" daughters as I have known Terry and Katy since high school. Mickey often substitue taught at Hall High so I was often steeped in Lawler. Dan (or as my inlaws called him "Stan" as in "Nicky and Stan" rather than Mickey and Dan) has fixed my car when transmission fluid exploded all over his driveway, helped me understand college math, and just has always been there to support his children and his "adopted" children. His memory will always in on my heart and...

The Lawler Family,

Sincere condolences to the entire family on the passing of Daniel F. Lawler. Grace Beckett, Dan's "adopted daughter" spoke lovingly of him to us, and we feel very sorry for his untimely passing.

Sincerely,

Lonnie & Michael Scheinblum
Grandparents of Jacob Galway Scheinblum

I am so lucky to have had a man like Dan in my life. He has had such a profound and positive impact on me that I can never fully express. The sadness that comes from such a loss is overwhelming. Mickey, Muff, Terry and Katy, I know I have already told you, but I love you. Dan- "I will miss you most of all Scarecrow". Thank you for being you and treating me like one of your own.

Dear Muffy and family
It has been a long time since we have been in touch but I just wanted to send my and my family's condolences to you at this very difficult time. You are in our thoughts and prayers. I remember Mr. Lawler going out of his way to make me feel at home and comfortable at your house.
With deepest sympathy from the entire Mullan Family

To Mr. Lawlers family, I send my condolensces to you all. Mr. Lawler was my math teacher when I attended Weaver and was a friendly and familiar face until I graduated in 1988. Know that there are many of us with fond memories of a man who always had an encouraging word, solid advice, and could make the hardest and boringest math lesson exciting!
