Not sure what to say?

Danny,

I just read the Lowell Sun online. I just wanted to convey my sympathy to you. Having worked downtown for many years, I would see your Dad often. He would always say hello to me with that big smile of his.
Take comfort that he taught you well and that you are carrying on with his values.

Our hearts and prayers are with you during this very sad time. Dan's warm friendly smile will be sorely missed.

To all:

I grew up on "A" street and have many fond childhood memories; most neighboors know that my Mom had died of cancer, when all of us were fairly young, and like most neighboors in the 70's they all "pitched-in' to do what ever they could. Our family sends the Leahy family our prayers and warmest thoughts. Val, Tim and Laurie: if you need anything at all please don't hesitate to ask. We are just across the street.

It has been an honor and a privledge to know Mr. Leahy since I was a small child.I have met few such kind, caring, gentle people in my life.I will always remember the gentleman he was.Mrs. Leahy you are in my thoughts and prays. You too Uncle Mike, Aunt Maryann , Tim, Maureen, Dan , And Families.

He was one who taught not from textbooks or from scriptures but rather straight from his heart. His everyday actions were to me direct lessons on how to live a good life. He had the ability to convey so much with his smile. I will never forget it. He had a true heart of gold. I am...

Dear Val, Everytime I hear the name Loretta, I'll think of George and the first ice cream cone he bought me. Love always, Lorraine

Mrs. Leahy and to all the Leahy family, I have deep respect for Mr Leahy Sr. He's someone to learn from. My thoughs and prayers are with you. Peace and rest are now with him.

How can you express such feelings for such an amazing person. There are no words to explain the loss that our family and the Lowell community has experienced. Thank you to all of you who have expressed your sincere condolences. Our family appreciates it more than we could ever say.
