Not sure what to say?

Ah, Kim...He and Donny are the cousins that were a bit of a mystery. A bit older, a bit further away, a lot too lost to his mom's family. She died at 35, with his little sis, Laura also in the accident. Laura was so near my age and in pictures, we could be sisters. Reading these remembrances made me happy for him, though, especially from Terry. This means the boys had contact yet with Uncle Jerry and Aunt Dorothy and a houseful of boys to connect with, younger though they were. Peace Kim, Don...

As one of Kim´s first cousins, I was still a kid on a bicycle when he came home from Nam. His red 69 Plymouth 383 4 speed was a beauty. He would come by himself or with brother Donny on those lazy summer Sundays and we would talk the afternoons away with a cookout. Usually at Christmas time he would make it out for some of the New Year´s Day dinners. Best new years memory he was on his way out to our place and it was snowing pretty good and he slid off the road and ended up against a power...

Danny was always known to me as Kim. I met him while my Mother was engaged to his dad. We were in high school in the early 60's.

Kim, even though it's been a lot of years, I've thought of you often, and when ever I thought about you, I always thought about that awesome Satelite Sebring you drove in the early 70's.

I can't party like we used to, but the next glass of wine I have will be a toast to you.

Your almost Sis,

Cookie

I worked with Danny for many years at Kohl's grocery warehouse. We was a great guy to work with. My condolences go out to your family.

Hey, Danny, I'll never forget the first time we met...Up North...driving off road in your truck...walking waayyy back into the woods...and then me suddenly leaping from your truck in the middle of the highway to rip off my clothes because I was crawling with ticks....great first meeting, LOL. Man, you laughed that day!

Tip one for me up there, now and again, buddy.....

Danny was our close friend before we left Milwaukee. Our granddaughter who was then only 2 called him Jose and made him laugh. He was such a gentle person, we spent many hours together at our campfire in Crivitz. We have such good memories of him and the gentleness he showed to our children and grandchildren. He will always be remembered with love.
