As Paul's friend and teacher, I also grew to know Dan and he became my friend too. He was caring and thoughtful and kind and supportive. I will miss his smile, his great sense of humor and his humorous phone messages during the Red Sox/Cardinals duel. Met you many years ago and have known you as a Brother of my friend. Years went by and we became friends as well. We shared many of life's good moments. I have never met anyone who was so well disciplined, kind, joyful and always had a smile on his face. Always poised, but yet free and childlike at times to bring a smile or comfort to others.
