Daniel "Dano" Leis

We still miss Dan-o and Sparky...their pictures are next to Mark's in our foyer entrance where we can place flowers and remember them with love and respect.

I just discovered this today. I am sorry to hear this news, knowing how full of life Dan was. Nancy, you might remember me, my father was your children's pediatrician. I knew Dan a long time ago, but have good memories of him and our hunting and fishing trips. Hope you are doing well.

Dano-I will never forget you, Thinking of you even now, makes me smile. Thanks for all the great fishing trips, laughs and hugs! You know it's been said "If you have a few good stories at the end of your life-then you have had a good life" You had a few good stories :) -kb

Dano was a very special person in our lives, and we loved him very much. He was a devoted friend to my brother, Mark, and helped him through his last years by making sure Mark got to do as much fishing as possible. Dano called Mark every day and after Mark left us, Dano made sure he called Mom and me often, just to let us know he loved us. I know they are together now, fishing, with Sparky at their heels.
